My knight in shining...flannel

This post is dedicated to my husband, who truly is my better half. I am not sure where I would be or who I would be if it wasn't for Josh. He has brought out the best in me and pushed me to where I am today. Without his love and support I can guarantee my life would not be the same. Ok, I might be just as stubborn and strong willed without him but I wouldn't have someone to encourage me when I feel like giving up and to tell me to take a breath when I just can't let something go. He is the balance for my crazy. He is the free spirit for my uptight tendencies and he is the man who will say he's sorry and hug me even if he didn't do anything wrong. Josh is laid back and easy going yet he will work himself to the bone to make sure we are taken care of. He might work over 50 hours a week but he will spend his days off in the woods cutting fire wood so that I don't freeze all winter long. I am SO excited as winter comes along we will get to spend more time snuggling by the fire, cozied up in our tent (we camp in the winter!), hiking through the hills hunting big game, looking for a house and celebrating holidays. I couldn't imagine spending my time with anyone else and I am so thankful that I have been blessed with such a wonderful man. I look back at the last 6 years and am so beyond happy at the memories we have created. I truly look forward to the rest of our lives and all the adventures that we will have together.

Our first 'real' date EVER. Sadie Hawkins dance. My daddy bbq'd ribs for a group of us. And this tall kid & I danced the night away :)
Our camping getaway...IN THE SNOW & RAIN! We sure know how to pick the best weekends for camping. But my man has us covered with his ingenious tarp porch. I specifically remember this trip as it wouldn't stop raining and we spent 2 hours in the truck playing iPod roulette. Josh was so (fake) mad at me for knowing every song!!
My hiker man. This trip is when we went to Kootnai creek and had SO much fun I ended up in the emergency room with a busted up ankle.
This trip to Como lake was the only time I think we have EVER been to the lake without another soul present. We got there right after a crazy storm passed & sat on the dock eating oreos. :)
These last photos are from an overnight/weekend trip we made to Colorado. We drove through the night to my parents in colorado. Josh met up with his best friend Patrick and the summited a fourteen thousand foot peak. We woke up the next morning and drove home. Pure CRAZINESS!!!!!

Thank you baby, for being so utterly fantastic! I adore you! And I couldn't possibly have greater memories than the ones you have given me.
