Vacation, Family & Home

Well I just went on a wonderful 10 day vacation. It was a nice trip and truly enjoyed spending such a long time with Grandma & Grandpa, my Mama and my aunts & uncles. On the other hand my heart ached for my Hubby who stayed home to {manage the fort} & work so we could pay for my trip the bills. I also missed my little wiggle butt! She got lots of quality time with her Grandma & Grandpa and only misbehaved a little bit :) So...my trip to California was for my cousins wedding. I had an interesting experience checking out downtown sacramento which is SO different from downtown missoula. I could see it being a lot of fun if that is what you are used to doing but I so love the laid back downtown missoula that it is hard to go anywhere else. My Aunt Sybil & Uncle Preston took my mom & I wine tasting which was a lot of fun. As someone who only recently started appreciating wine I can tell you it was definitely GOOD wine!!! As you can see from these pictures we definitely had a good time at the wedding :)

Although it was so wonderful to visit my family and the place that I was born I was truly overjoyed to return home. AND yes, Montana is my home. I really do love it here. I love driving and being able to look any direction and see mountains. I LOVE that this morning those mountains had a light mist of snow covering them. I am so thankful to live somewhere that is so truly beautiful. It doesn't hurt that my sweet love was here waiting for me. It may be true--home is where your heart is {& in case you didn't know, my heart is with these two}
